Naming Ceremonies

“Like stars are to the sky, so are the children to our world. They deserve to shine!”

Baby Presents

Baby Namings

If a formal christening or baptism isn't for you, then a naming ceremony for your baby or young child is the ideal alternative to recognise and celebrate their arrival into the family.

There’s a lifetime of opportunity ahead for your child, so this is the chance to celebrate it. And with no restrictions on the venue or timing of such a ceremony, this is a where parents, guardians, friends and family can come together, to celebrate this precious new life.

Using vows, poems, music and readings that are meaningful to you, there is freedom to create a personal ceremony full of joy. And if there are other siblings to be involved in this special occasion - then so much the better. A naming day is a celebration about, and for, the entire family.

As always, I am happy to guide where necessary, helping to source material and provide ideas. The outcome will be a joyful day full of memories, laughter and happy tears!

Adoption Ceremonines

An adoption ceremony is a wonderful way to celebrate a new addition to the family and the start of your life as a family together.

Like a naming ceremony, it provides the opportunity for family and friends to welcome your child into your wider family and community.

During the ceremony you may like to share  your journey so far and hopes and dreams for the future through readings, poems, quotes and music. The ceremony can be a whole family affair or intimately just you as parents – it's your ceremony!
